Chesbro. Present Counoilmen Boock, Heck, Wentz, Milias; Absent Councilmen East~~ Rush. Matter pertaining to traffic signs ereoted by the Califor- .' nia Automobile Association deferred until a future meeting. Motion by Milias Seconded by Heck and oarried that retail li- cense to sell Sub-alcoholic bevera~@ be issued to J. W. Doherty. James N. Battersby of San Jose made application to conduct a funeral establishment at 432 North Eigleberry Street. Motion by Boock seconded by Wentz that Ordinance No. 394 be co trj Q passed and adopted after having been read by title as follows: An Ordinance providing for the extension of time for the pay- menj of all property taxes for the fiscal year ending June 30th, 1933, under the provisions of the MUhicipal Code of the City of Gilroy Vote, Ayes, Councilmen Fred C. Boock, S. D. Heck, Geo. A. Wentz, Geo. C. Milias, Jr.; ~oes, Councilmen, None; Absent Councilmen Geo. Easton, J. H. Rush. The Finance Committee was requested to secure the services of two business men of the town to make an appraisal of the various stocks of goods for assessment purposes.
