Gilroy, Calif., May 22, 1934.
The regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council of May
15th, ~934, was called to order by His Honor Mayor Elmer J.
Clj.esbro.
Present Councilmen George Easton, J. H. Rush, Fred C. Boock,
S. D. Heclcj Absent Councilmen Geo. A. Wentz and George C.
Milias, Jr.
Motion by Councilman 0. D. Heck, seconded by Councilman Fred
C. Boock and carried; That Oliver 1,'ioodworth be notified by
the Marshal that he must removethe sign from over his place of
business and if he does not do so. the Marshal is hereby di-
rected to paace him under arrest.
On Motion of Councilman George Easton, seconded by Council-
man Fred C. Boock, it was moved and carried That Ordinance No.
404, be and the same is hereby duly passed and adopted.
Vote, Ayes Councilmen George Easton, Fred C. Boock, s. D. lIeck,
J. H. Rush; Noes, Councilmen, None; Absent Councilmen

Motion by CouncilmQn Rush, seconded by Councilman Heck, That
we accept the contract lor oiling streets, as made by Mr. L. H.
Bering.
