Gilroy, Calif., Sept. 4th, 1934.
The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was called
to order by His Honor Mayor E:lmer J. Chesbro.
Present Councilmen 3. H. Rush, Fred C. Boock, S. D. Heck,
George C. Milias, Jr;
Absent Councilmen Ben stewart and George
A. l}entz.
Lr. 3ames Battersby ap')eared before the Council relative to
a place on Corner of Hanna Street and Bodfish Mill Road which he
is repairing for a Funeral Home.
The Board advanced the information
to Mr. Battersby that he would be cllowed to proceed with the
work.
3y motion of Councilman s. D. Heck, seconded by Councilman J.
H. Rush Ordinance No. 407 was passed and adopted after having
been read and re~read by title as follows:
An Ordinance amending Ordinance No, 404 of the City of Gil-
roy providing for the issuance of :) 29,000.00 principal amount
of T:ater main replacement bonds of 1934 of the City of Gilroy.
The kinutes of meetings of month of August were read and
ordered apnroved.
By motion of Councilman J. II. Rush, seconded by Councilman
:. D. Heck applications for nightwatchman by Lucas Patrone and
';dward Poli vrere ordered placed on file.
lVIonthly reports of officers were read find ordered placed
on file.
The regular monthly bills were presented and by motion of
Boock, seconded by Beck ordered allo'wed and \varrents drawn.
By motion of Peck duly :oE,'conded and ccrricu, it was or-
dered that transfers be made from the General Fund as follows:-

That 4~ 338.46 be transferred to the ,'lterworks Imp, Bond
Fund of 1923, and~: 400.81 to the Sewage DispOSE'll Imp. Fund of
192? .
