Gilroy, Calif., June 3rd, 1915.
The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was called
to order by His Honor Mayor Elmer J. Chesbro.
Present Councilmen Fred C. Boock, S. D. Heck, Geo. C. Milias, Jr
Geo. A. Went z;
Absent Councilmen Ben stewart and J. H. Rush.
The minutes of meetings of May 6th and May. 15th, 1935, were
read and ordered approved.
Motion by Councilman Wentz, duly seconded and carried: That
the City maker application for SERA labor in connection with
constructing the Lewis Street bridge and also leveling the creek
bed, with the twenty-five per cent.
Officers monthly reports were read and ordered placed on file.
Motion by Wentz seconded by Boock and carried; That three tax
statements on the 1934-1935 Assessment Roll be ordered cancelled
on account of duplication.
Motion by Wentz seconded by Boock and carried:
That we
transfer :~ 5000.00 from the Water fund to the General Fund
of the City of Gilroy.
Motion by Milias, seconded by .entz and carried: That water
line extension on West side of town be taken up by the Water Super-
intendent as soon
as possible.
The regular monthly bills were then read and by motion of
Milias seconded by Wentz and carried ordered allowed and warrants
drawn.
