The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was
called to order By His Honor Mayor Elmer J. Chesbro.
Present Councimmen Fre~ C. Boock, S. D. Heck, Ben Stewart,
J. H. Rush, Geo. A. Wentz and Geo. C. Milias, Jr.
The minutes of meetings O~Aug. 5th, Aug. 23rd,Aug. 26th and
Aug. 30th, were read and orderec.; approvecJ.
The matter of the purchase of a street sweoper was first
taken up.
Motion by Wentz seconded by Boock and carried that we accept
the machine as described by liTre Smith.
By consent of the maker of the motion and its second it was
decided that thee matter be left over for one week for further con-
sideration
Monthly reports of officers were presented and by motion of
Heck, seconded by ~entz the said reports were accepted and ordered
placec.~ on file.
Mr. Wistler of the National Audit ahd System Co. of Oakland,
Califmade report on the audit of the City books and documents.
Motion by IvIilias seconded by Boock and carrie(: that the
Auditors report be accepted and ordered placed on file.
The regular monthly bills were presented and by motion 01'

Heck, secondeti by Boock ordered allowed and warrants ordered drawn.
The assessment roll of values for public service corporation
proplerty:s m:de by the state Board of Equalization was ordered ac-
cepted
