Minutes 1935/10/07 r.", ,"':, ':3 ;->>Z i Gilroy, California. Oct. 7, 1935 The regular monthly meeting of the Corrmon Council was called to order by His Honor, Mayor Elmer J. Chesbro. Present Councilmen were Fred C. Boock, S. D. HeCk, J. H. RUSh, George A. Wentz, George C. Milias, Jr.-4-bsent Councilman was Ben Stewart. The minutes of the September meetings were read and by motion duly recorded were ordered approved. Monthly reports of City offices were read and by motion of Wentz, seconded by Boock, ordered accepted and placed on file. Motion by Wentz, seconded by Rush and Council, That $3,500.00 be ordered transferred from the water Fund to the General Fund. Motion by Boock, seconded by Wentz and Council. That tranSfers from the General Fund to the following named bond Funds be ordered to-wit: Motion by Wentzseeeonded by Rush that the City lease to Mrs. Nettie Wilson, 47.74 acres at $20.00 an acre per year, payable December 1st of each year. The land is more fully described as being that fraction of t' Sewer Farm lying East of the Main ditcp. Motion by Wentz, seconded by Rtish . . The following Resolution was introduced: Be It Resolved: That a certain said contract tendered by H. All.emand and the Ferry-Morse Seed Company is hereby approved and that Elmer J. Motion by Milias, seconded by Boock and Council that the City put in ne~ vvater service lines as follow s: One on South Church Street and the other on East Old Gilroy Street.
