Gilroy, California. March 2nd, 1936
The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was called to order
by His; Honor ~~yor Blmer J. Chesbro.
Present Councilmemwere Fred Boock, S. D. Heck, Ben Stewart, J. H. Rush,
George Wentz, ~eorge C. Milias, Jr. Absent: None.
Motion by Wentz, seconded by Stewart and carfied that the Mayor appoint
3. Committee to meet with the City:.Attorney and draw up contract in regard to
the erection of Armory and Auditorium building.
The Committee was appointed as follows: Councilmen S. D. Heck, George
A. Wentz and George C. Milias, Jr.
The minutes of February 3rd and Februa.cy 8th were read and ordered
approved.
The regular monthly reports of City offices \Jere read and by motion of
stewart seconded by Wentz, said reports were accepted and ordered placed in
file.
Application for night-watchman and traffic officer were presented and
ordered placed on file.
The regular monthly bills were presented and by motion of Wentz, seconded
by Milias and carried, ordered allowed and warrants drawn.
