The regular monthly meeting of the.newly elected Common Council was
called to order by His Honor, Mayor S. D. Heck.
Present Councilmen were: Nat Heiner, George C. Milias, Jr., J. H. Rush,
Ben Stewart, Kerry L. Wilkinson. Absent Councilman: George M. Mason.
Mayor S. D. Heck then appointed the Standing Committess to serve during
the ensuing two years.

A petition signed by a number of property owners for a laundry in the
residence district was presented.
Motion by Milias, secmded by Heiner and carried that permission is
hereby granted the 6ilQcci laundry.
Motion by Milia~, seconded by Ben Stewart and carried, that James S.
Byers be re-appointed City Attorney and A. G. Goodrich and Joe Walsh as
night watchmen, and Paul H. Tremaine as traffic officer.
Motion by Rush, seconded by Milias, and carried, that the bond
of E. F. Rogers, City Clerk, be
