A Special meeting of the Common Council was called to order by
His Honor, Mayor S. D. Heck. All members of the Council were present.
The Clerk was instructed to again notify E. M. Rea to repair
the sidewalk on Monterey Street between 1st and 2nd streets belonging
to the Sargent Estate. The. Coast Counties Gas and Electric Company
were to be instructed to install a regular street light at 3rd and Carmel
Stre et .
Motion by Wilkinson, seconded by Milias that we approve contract
and surety bonds and accept the bonds of Inland Bonding Co. for the
~aving of Old Gilroy Street by A. J. Raisch, one for performance for
~5,190.12 and one for labor and materials for $5190.12.
Motion by Heiner, seconded by Stewart that we return Certified
checks to A. J. Raisch Co. for $1050.00 and Union Paving Company for
$1500.00
