OF GILROY, TO EXECUTE FOR AND IN BEI~LF OF SAID CITY, THE
APPLICATIONS FOR PROJECTS FINANCED BY THE WORK'S PROGRESS
ADMINISTHATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
BE IT RESOLVED this ).ro~ day of A. Vy n , 1937, by the
Common Council of the City of Gilroy, that S. D. Heck, Mayor
of the City of Gilroy, be and he is hereby authorized to sign
and execute for and in behalf of the said City of Gilroy, all
applications for proposed work under the Work's Progress Ad-
ministration of the United States of America, particularly
the certain application as follows:

The foregoing resolution was duly passed, approved and
adopted by the COli1mOn Council of the City of Gilroy at a reg-

BE IT RESOLVED by the City i.jouncil of the City of Gilroy,
California, in meeting assembled on the 26th day of April, 1937,
that the City Planning Commission of said City be and the same
is hereby instructed to prepare a proposed zoning or district-
ing plan for said City, as specified by law, and to make the
reports thereon which are required by law; be it further
RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and the same is hereby
directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to
said City Planning Commission.

Commission to date.
A letter from Pugh R. Pomeroy ,Advisor in City and County Plann-
ing,addressed to City Planning Comra1ssion,Gilroy,California,1s
read.
Motion by Councilman Rush,seconded by Councilman Heiner and
carried that the Common Counc il ace ept the proposa 1 made by 1vlr.
Hugh R.pomeroy in his letter addressed to the City Planning Com-
mission,dated April 23,1937,and agree to perform,in behalf of
the City PlanningComnission,the proposal set forth therein.
