The regular meeting of the Common Council is called to order
by His Honor Mayor S.D.Heck.
Present Councilman George Milias,Jr.,J.H.Rush,Nat Heiner,
George Mason,H.L.Wilkinson.
Absent:Councilman None.
Minutes of the meetings of April 5t~~12th and 26th are read
and approved.
Communications from Congressman John J.McGrath,Senator Hiram
W.Johnson and Senator Sanborn Young are read.
The Clerk is instructed to notify 'bY-fletter all dealers in
gas cline and fuel oil that on' ,-nd after June 1,1937 all dealers
in gasoline and fuel oil will discontinue making deliveries of
these products to containers that do not comply with Ordinance
No.420.
Motion by Counci~an Wilkinson,seconded by Councilman Milias
and carried that reports of officers be accepted and placed on
file.
Motion by Councilman Heiner,seconded by Councilman M11ias and
carried that bills as presented be allowed and warrants ordered
drawn on the Treasury.
Motion by Councilman Mllias,seconded by Councilman Heiner and

1,Iotion by Counc ilman '::11kinson,seconded by Counc ilman Rush
that the building permi t presented by Dushan Anglus,
petitioner,for changes in the garage building located at the South-
east corner of Sixth and 1~nterey streets be allowed, subject to
the fOllowing conditions:
That the plans and specifications for the proposed work be
submitted to the Fire COI~aittee and the 1~yor for their approv-
aI, before work is commenced;that all expense in connection with
o the moving of City property be borne entirely by the property
owner;that in the event a change is made back to the original
condition of the property,as of this date,the owner shall agree
to be held entirely responsible for making all such ch9llges,
insofar as City property is effected,and shall pay all costs
connected with such work.
