A special meeting of the Common Counoil is called to order
by His Honor Mayor S.D.Heck.
Present:Councilmen George Milias,Jr.,J.H.Rush,Nat Heiner,
George Mason,Jack Rogers,George Martin.
Absent: Councilmen None.
The Mayor welcomes the two Dew Counoilmen,Jack Rogers and
George Martin; Counoilman Rogers responds.
Motion by Councilman Rush,seoonded by Councilman Mason and
oarried that Building Permit No.472,Minnie Aye,petitioner,be
dented.

Motion by Councilman Heiner,seconded by Councilmap Rogers

RESOLUTION OF mE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CrTY OF GILROY APPROVING MEMORDNDUM OF AGREEMENT
FOR EXPEllDlroRE OF ! CENT GAS TAX
AIJ..OCATED FOR STREEI'S OF MAJOR Th1PORTANCE
WHEREAS, the State of California,through its Depart-
ment of Publio Works,Division of Highways ,has presented
a memorandum agreement in accordance with a project
statement submitted by the City for expenditure of the
1/4 cent gas tax for the fisoal year 1938 allocated tor
streets of Major Importance other than State highways in
the City 0 f Gilroy, and
WHEREAS,the City Council has heard read said agree-
ment in full and is familiar with the contents thereof,
and desires to approve the same;

THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Gilroy that said agreement for expenditure of
1/4 oent gas tax allocated for streets of Major Importance
other than state Highways be and the same is hereby approved
and the Mayor and City Clerk are directed to sign the same
on behalf of said City.
