The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council is called to
order by His Honor Mayor S.D.Heck.
Present Councilmen George Milias,.Jr.,.Jack Hogers,.J.H.Rush,
Goo rge A.Martin,George l'l[ason ,Hat Heiner. Absent Councilman: None.

Motion by Gouncilman 1.=ilias ,seconded by Councilman Rogers and

carried that the Division of Highways be allowed to expend not to
exceed ~30.00 from the highways maintenance fund to erect two
direct ional signs along State Sign Route 152.
Postmater R.f4.Martin,Elmer Weymouth, secretary of the Chamber of
COmIaerce,Dr.H.R.Chesbro and .John M.Hoesch appear before the Council
to discuss the new parking time limit. This matter is referred to
the Traffice Safety Cownittee for a report.
Mr . Augus t Piedemonte ap~:)ears be fore the Counc il to di scuss the
license for outside fish peddlers.
Mr.George C.Renz presents a check for ~25.00 to start proceedings

to change the following described property from A to B district:
,.... west side of Rosanna Street and alley between Hosanna and Hanna
..... Streets from Second Street North to the South boundary of B district
South of First street. This matter is referred to the City Planning
Commission.
City Attorney Byers reports on a recent exammnation of property
along the proposed line for extension of the Levee on Uvas Creek.
Councilman Mason leads uiscussion on collection of delinquent
water bills. The matter is referred to the 'iiater Commi ttee for
action.
Counc ilman Rogers u.iscusses raises in salary fo r the City 1\larshal
and City Clerk. 'rhe matter is referred to the Finance ComLlittee.
gr.H.~.Atkinson discusses the the flood situation on Leavesley
Hoad, the traffic si tuation in the north part of the City and the

carried that bills as presented be allowed and warrants ordered
drawn on the Treasurer.
