The regular adjourned meeting of the Comraon Council is called
to order by His Honor Mayor S.D.Heck.
Present-Counc1lmen:George C.M1lias,.Jr.,.Jack Rogers,.James
Battersby,George M.Mason.
Absent-Councilmen:George A.Martin,
Nat Heiner.
This being the time set for opening bids for 250 barrels of
60-70 Road Oil,or more if required, for oiling alleys,the
following bids accompanied by certified checks in proper amount
are opened:
Palo Alto Road Materials Co. ,$1.58 per bbl.jPacific Truck Servioe,
$1.69 per bbl. jlrvin Hollister,$1.95 per bbl. jGeorge C.Renz,$2.0f>
per bbl.
Motion by Councilman Rogers,seconded by Councilman Battersby and
oarried that the low bid of the Palo Alto Road Materials Co.be
accepted;that if additional oil is required it shall be furnished
at the bid price per barrel.
The Clerk is instructed to so inform the successful bidder and
to notify them when the work is ready to start.
Adjourned subject to the
call of the chair.
