A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GILROY TO FILE AN
APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THROUGH THE
FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR A
GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ARMORY
BUILDING AND DESIGNATING BINDER & CURTIS, ARCHITECTS OF
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA TO FURNISH SUCH INFORMATION AS THE
GOVERNMENT MAY REQUEST.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council:
SECTION l. That S. D. HECK as Mayor of the City of Gilroy,
be and he is authorized to execute and file an application on be-
half of the City o~ Gilroy, California to the United States of
America for a grant to aid in financing the construction of an
Armory Building within said City of Gilroy, California on prop-
erty o\vned by it at Sixth and Rosanna Streets in said City.
SECTION 2. That Binder & Curtis, Architects of San Jose, Cali-
fornia be and they are hereby authorized and directed to furnish
such information as the United States of America through the Federal
Emergency Administration of Public Works may reasonably ,request in
connection with the application which is herein authorized to be
