This regular adjourned meeting of the Common Counc il is called
to order by His Honor r,layor George C.Milias,.Jr.
Pr8s8nt:Counoilmen:G8orge A.Martin,George M.Mason,.Jack Rogers,
Nat Heiner. Absent: Councilmen: James Battersby,J.H.Wentworth.
Motion by Councilman Rogers, seconded by Councilman Heiner and
carried that the Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for a
three-quarter ton pickup truck for the Water Department,specific-
contain
ations to/the.following requirements: a 1941 model, 6 or 8 cylinders,
five first quality 6 ply tires, body:minimum length 85 inches,width
48 inches, bidders to figure in exchange of present Ford 85 H.P.
pickup.
The l\IDyor announces that the local Elks lodge has made application
for use of the Wheeler Civic Auditorium for a danoe on February 22nd,
if~he building is under the jurisdicaion of the city on that date.
The Clerk is instructed to prepare an application for the building
for this date and have it signed by the proper offioer of the lodge.
The Mayor announces that John Glover has been appointed Poundmaster
at a salary of ~25.00 per month.
Motion by Councilman lvlason, seconded by Counc ilman Martin and
carried that touncilman Jack Rogers be granted a leave of absence from
the state for 30 days.

Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for insurance to cover
~ll city-owned motor vehicles.
