This regular adjourned meeting of the Cornmon Counc il is called
to order by Eis Honor Llayor Ge orge G. Milias ,Jr.
Present:Councilmen George Ivl.l'jason,Jac},;: Hogers,James Battersby,
Nat Reiner. Absent:Councilmen George A.I.:artin,J.E. V:entworth.
The Mayor now discusses the purchase of a standard air raid
warning signal stating that the several methods suggested had been
tried and were found to be insufficient.
Councilman Eeiner states that he is making a business trip to San
Francisco ani will call at the E.D.Bullard Company's offices,obtain
information and prices on airs raid sirens and report. to the Council.
Adjourned subject to the
