This regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council is called
to order by His Honor Mayor George C.Milias,.Tr.
Present:Councilmen George A.Martin,George M.1mson,Jack Rogers,
James Battersby,.T.H.Wentworth. Absent:Councilmen Nat Heiner.
The Mayor now orders }he Clerk to prooeed with the canvassing
of the vote of the General Municipal election held May 4,1942 and
the canvassing of the absent voters ballots for the same election,
and appoints Counoilmen Battersby,Mason and Wentworth as tally
clerks.
Motion by Councilman Mason, seconded by Councilman Martin and

A notice,addressed to Mr.Pasquale laMacchia, 250 San Benito street,
Hollister, California, stating that his building located at 34 North
Monterey Street, Gilroy, California, has been ordered demolished due
to the building being unsafe, a fire hazard and dangerous for use, is
presented and read.
Motion by Counc ilman \Ventworth, see onded by Counc ilman Mart in and
carried that the Notice, addressed to Mr.Pasquale LaMacchia, Drdering
him to demolish his building located at 34 North Monterey Street, be
sent to him by registered mail.
