This regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council is called to
order by His Honor r,layor George C.I\:iilias ,Jr.
Present:Councibnen George A.Martin,J.H.TIentworth,James Battersby,
David V.Stout. Absent:CounciL~en George M.Mason,Nat Heiner.
The I.,layor announces that this meeting has been called for the
purpose of considerir~ the appointroont of a Night Officer to replace
Night Officer George Easton who is ill in the hospital.
rvrr. W.G.Hampton. 15 called. before. the board to gi ve his qualifications
for the position of' Night Officer.
It i5 unanimously agreed that applicatiorm for the position of
Night Offic er should bee alled for a m cons idera t ion of ap plica t ions
is set for Thursday, July 16,1942.
