This regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council is called to
order by His Honor Mayor George C.Milias,Jr.
Present:Councilmen George A.Martin,George M.Mason,James Battersby,
Nat Beiner,J.H.Wentworth,David V.Stout.Absent:Councilmen:None.
The matter of spraying the sycamore trees located in the parking
areas throughout the city is discussed.
The Superintendent of streets is inst~cted to aonfer with the

City Attorney on the drawing up of a suitable petition to/presented

to property owners fo r their signature if they desire. to have the
trees,in front of their property,sprayed.
Motion by Councilman Heiner, seconded by Councilman Mason and
carried that the sycamore trees throughout the city be sprayed,
providing,permission can be obtained from property owners.
The Clerk is instructed to withold the signing of an amended
contract with the Electrical Products Corporation for two "GILROY"

signs, pending further investigation.
