This regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council is called to
order by His Honor Mayor George C.M111as,Jr.
Present:Councilmen George M.Mason,James Battersby,Nat Heiner,
David V.Stout. Absent:C~ncilmen George A.Martin,J.H.Wentworth.
The Mayor now discusses the appointment of a new member for the
Gasoline Panel of the Gilroy Rationing Board to sueeeed Mr.E.J.
Fabbri,resigned.
Motion by Councilman Battersby, seconded by Councilman Stout and
oarried that Mr. Kirby L.MoAtee be appointed a member of the Gasoline
Panel of the Gilroy Rationing Board.

Motion by Councilman Heiner, seconded by Councilman Stout and
carried that Ernest Barozzi be appointed Traffic Officer at a salary
of $185.00 per month,effective 8S of December 1,1943, to hold offioe
at the pleasure of the Counc ll.
It 1s unanimously agreed that George Easton continue a Night Offioer
for t he present.
Motion by Councilman Heiner, seoonded by Councilman Battersby and
carried that Mrs.Vivian Barshinger be appointe4c8 member of the
Gilroy Library Board to replace Mrs.l&irjorie Grodhaus,resigned.
