Ths regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council is called to
order bp His Honor Mayor George C.Milias.
Present:Councilmen George A.Martin,Nat Heiner,.J.H.Wentworth,
Henry .J.Schil11ng. Absent: Councilmen George M.Mason,David V.Stout.
RESOLUTION NO. 144 is presented and read.
Motion by Councilman Heiner, seconded by Councilman Martin that
RESOLUTION NO.l44 be adopted.

A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE
PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and CODmlon Council of the
Ci ty of Gilroy:
That the City of Gilroy offer to pureha.8e what is
known a8 the Lin w. Wheeler Real Property, located
in the City of Gilroy adjoining the Gymkanna Property,
for the sum of $ 2,250.00
. Such Real Property
being now offered for sale in the matter of the Estate
of said Lin W. Wheeler, deceased.
ADOPTED AND PASSED this 31st day of August 1944
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN George A.Martin,Nat Heiner,.J.H.Wentworth,
Henry .J.Schilling.
NOES: COUNCILMEN None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN George M.Mason,David V.Stout.

on the City Treasurer, said amount representing 10% of the amount
bld on the Lin W.Wheeler Real Property,adjoining the Gymkhana
Property, said warrant to be made payable to Sydney S..Johnson,
Attorney for vTheeler Eitate and deposited with Mr..Johnson at his
office,17 Martin Street,Gilroy,Galifornia.
