The Mayor announces that the purpose of the meeting is to disaus~

'the matter of repairing the police car, whioh wasd amaged in an
accide nt, or purahase a new car tor use 0 f the dep artment.
Motion by Councilman Heiner,seconded by Counoilman Mason and carried
that the 1942 Chevrolet- 4 door seaan, less red lights ,siren and
radio, be sold to the Culwell Chevrolet Company for the sum of their
bid, $905.00 and the sum of $204.00 be collected from the insuranoe
oompan,Y .(their estimate to have the wrecked car plaoed in condition)
and that a new 1945 Ford 2-door sedan be purcha~ed from Byers Bros,
at the oeiling prioe not yet established by the Office o~ Prioe
Administration.
Counoilman Stout discusses the progress in installing the sewer,
mains in the Gurries Addition.
