The Mayor stqtes that this meeting has been called for the purpose
of dis cussing a regue st made by the Veterans t1enorial Co:mmi ttee for

an advance of ~500.00 to be used to secure an option on a piece of
land sel ected by the conmi ttee as a sui table locat ion to carry out
thei r program.
[Totion by Counci Iman Eeiner ,seconded by Counci Inan Eartin that the
city advance the sum of $500.00 from the General Fund to be applied
as an option on a niece of property selected by the Veterans Memorial
Committee as a site for a J11ernorial to Veterans of r.lOlJrld War II.
Vote on the motion: AYES: Gouncilnen George A.L:artin,George M.lv~ason,

NOES: Councilman David if.Stout
