This regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council is called to
order by His Honor :Mayor George C.Milias.
Present:Coul1cilmen George M.l!lason,J.H. Wentworth, Ray L.Stevens,
James B.Thomas,Dale D.Daniels. Absent:Counci~aan David V.Stout.
The Mayor now presents and reads a communication from Mr.Stanley
V.~nite, attorney for City Marshal A.G.Goodrich.
Councilman Daniels made the following motion: Stanley V.Vllidte,
attorney for A.G.Goodrich,City Marshal, having requested a post-
ponement of the hearing of the charges against the City Marshal
embraced within the J.H.Jamison Service report, for~wo weeks or
until April 4,1949 at 10 o'clock A.M., upon the agreement to have a
writ of prohibition tested before that date upon a time to be
selected by the City Attorney of Gilroy, I now move that the said
hearing be postponed until 10 o'clock A.M., April 4th,1949 at the
City Hall, in accordance with said agreement. Council Thomas seconds
said motion. Motion is unanimously carried.
