T~e 1.1ayor states that the pur-oose of this meeting is to discuss the
approval of the map of Tract 626, Glen View Tract.
Councilman Wentworth moved the following motion:
THAT, the map or plat of Glen View Tract being Tract 626, a
subdivision in the westerly part of Gilroy as submitted to the
Mayor and Cmilluon Council of the City of Gilroy, be accepted upon
condition that the owners and subdividers of said tract file in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of Gilroy, a written agree-
ment to grade and gravel the streets and alleys shoV'Jl1 U:90n said map
which are not already included in the Dublic thoroughfares of the
City of Gilroy, and to install curbs,gutters and sidewalks, in
accordance with the requirements of the City of Gilroy and to the
grade established by the City Engineer before any residencesto be
erected on the property within the said subdivision are ready for
occupancy, and that the acceptance by the City of Gilroy shall not

be effective until said written agreement has been so filed, and
the Mayor and the City Clerk shall sign the acceptance on the plat
on behalf of the City of Gilroy. Counc ilman Liason seconded this
motion which was carried unanimously.
The Clerk is instructed to advise the City Planning Conwission
that the Council does not look with favor u;Jon the granting of a
Use Permit to the Home Gas and Appliance Company establishing a
butane and propane distributing plant at the southwest corner of
Monterey Street and Welburn Avenue.
The Clerk is instructed to place and ad in the Gilroy Evening
Dispatch warning all pwners<pft:vacant lots to comply with city
ordinances governing the accumulation of weeds and debris on their
property.
