A tentative list of steeets to be improved duri~j the coming year
is presented-Major Streets-Carnel Street-Fifth to Sixth Street; Sixth
Street-Forest street to Bridge; Secondary Streets-Broaduay,Hanna Street
to Carmel Street;Glirries Drive-Hanna to Church street;Casey Street-
rai lroad cros sing t 0 Swanston Lane; Srianston Lane.-Leavesley Hoad to
rear of high school;Hanna Street-6th to 7th street; Carmel Street,6th
to 7th streetx;Dowdy Street-3rd to 4th street;Dowdy Street-5th to 6th
. street;Third Street-valley gutters;Hanna Street at Broadway-drainage
pipe;Seventh Street-Honterey to Railroad Alle~;r;Alexander Street-Old
Gilrqy to 9th street, It was unanimmusly agreed that Alexander Street
from Old Gilroy to 9th ;:3treet should be a Street of l'Iajor Importance.
The matter of an inspector for street work and other inspection work
is discussed. It is also agreed that a further study should be made of
the tentative street improvement plan as presented by the Street
COIl.L'TI.i ttee.

The Mayor now calls upon Police Judge Leon ThOlTIaS to address the
Senior Problems Class.
