This regular adjourned meeting of the Comon Counc il is called to
order by His Honor Mayo r Ge orge C.Milias.
Present:<<ouncilmen George M.Mason,J.H.Wentworth,Ray L.Stevens,James
B.Thomas,David V.Stout,Dale D.Daniels.
The Mayor announces that the purpose of this meeting is to ~iscuss
applications for building permits by J.Kenneth 11cAlpine and V.Villa-
franca to change the fronts of the ir buildings loca ted at 75 and 54
Nortb Monterey St~eet,respe*tively.
The Ordinance committee is instructed to draw an ordinance governing
the changing of frnnts of buildings in the Fire Dis trict and to es-

tablish one Fire Zone.

Motion by Councilman Stout, seconded by Councilman Daniels and carried
that the application for a building permit by J.Kenneth l.10Alpine,'5
Norb~ Monterey Street, to rearrange the front of his store building at
this address be granted and that Mr.V.Villafranca be advised to re-
submi t his plans which will not include altering t he front 0 f his
building.
Councilman Stevens discusses the use of the city's garbage dump by
Gentry, Inc.
