This regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council is cal~ed to
order by His Honor Ivlayor George B.Milias.
Present:Councilmen George M.Mason,J.H.Wentworth,James B.Thomas,
Dale D.Daniels. Absent:Councilmen Ray L.Stevens,David V.Stout.
The Mayor states that the purpose of this meeting is to consider
the offer of J.Kenneth McAlpine to deed a twenty foot strip of his
property in the MoAlpine Subdivision in Block 3 & 4 North,Range 1
East, for alley purposes the property to revert to him or his succ-
essors in the event the city ever abandoned the land for alley use.
The City Attorney presents and reads the deed from J.Kenneth
,
McAlpine to the City of Gilroy for the 20 foot strip 01 land to
be used for alley purposes.
RESOLUTION NO.23l is presented and read.
Motion by Councilman Daniels,seconded by Councilman Mason that
RESOLUTION NO.231 be adopted.

Gilroy, that said City of Gilroy hereby accepts the conveyance hereto
attached and consents tothe recordation thereof.
Passed,approved and adopted this 3rd day of March,1950, at a regular
meeting of the COImnon Councillof the Ci ty 0 f Gilroy.
