This regular adjourned meeting of' the Common Counoil was oalled
to order by hi.s Honor, Geo. C. M11ia.s.
Present: Councilmen, J.R. Wentworth, Ray L. Stevens, J.B.Thomas
Dale D. Daniels, Geo. M. Mason, David V. Stout.
The Mayor states that the prupose of' the meeting is to review a
proposed Ordinanoe relative to the annexation of' territory to the
City of' Gilroy.
ORDINANCE NO ~J1~ is presented .and read.
The several sections, subsections and parts of' this ordinanoe
are discussed and oertain ohanges are made.
It is moved by Councilman Daniels, seoonded by Counoilman
Stout that Ordinance No. ~(!A be adopted as change4.

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE SEWER SYSTEM AND
WATER SYSTEM OF THE OITY OF GILROY, AT THE EXPENSE OF THE APPLICANTS
THEREFOR, PROVIDING THE OONDITIONS UNDER WHICH EXTENSIONS MAY BE
MADE AND PROVIDING FOR THE REFUND TO SUCH APPLICANTS OF A PROs.;;
PORTIONATE SHARE OF THE COST TO BE PAID BY SUBSEQUENT APPLIOAlTS FOR
SERVICE CONNECTIONS UNDER SUOH EXTENSIONS.

The matter of trading in the Studebaker Polioe Oar toward a new

oar to be used by the Polioe Department for Police work is disoussed.
It is moved by Counoilman Thomas, seconded by Councilman Stevens
and oarried that the PU~ohasing Agent publish a notioe inviting bids
for a new oar to be used by the Polioe Department and to inolude in
the notice the bid to transfer all Police equipment from the present
Studebaker Polioe car to the new oar and the Studebaker to be traded
in as part payment.
The Mayor, at the request of the purchasing Agent, appoints
Counoilmen Thomas, Daniels and Mason as advisor to assist in prepar-
ing the notice tor bids.
