This regular adjourned meeting of the Common Counc il is called to
order by His Honor Mayor George C.Milias.
Present~Counoilmen George M.Mason,diH~~entworth,~ames B.Thomas,
David V.Stout,Carl W.Pate. Absent:Counoilman Dale D.Daniels.
The proposed lease between th e PH,tsweet Foods, Ino. and the City
of Gilroy for three acres of the oity sewer farm land lying between
the old Gentry garbage dump and the west bank of the Llagas Creek is

presented and read.
Motion by Councilman Thomas,seconded by Councilman Pate and carried

that the lease between the Ci ty of Gilroy and Pictsweet Foods ,Inc.
for furee acres 0 f the city sewer farm land lying between the old
Gentry garbage dump and the west bank ot: the Llagas Creek for use
as a viner station be acoepted as read.

Counoilman IJason states that the water department has need for
1500 feet of 6 inoh oast iron pipe.
Motion by Councilman Thomas,seoonded by Councilman Stout and
oarried that 1500 feet of 6 inch oa$$~iron pipe be purohased for
use of the water department.
