This regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council is called
to order by His Honor Mayor George C.Milias.
Present:Councilmen Carl W.Pate,Courtland M.Rush,Charles Gallo,
George W.White,Jack W.Ronald. Absent:Councilman J.Hughes Kennedy.
Councilman Pate discusses selling the city motor grader stating
that $3000.00 had been offered forfue machine.
Motion by Councilman Pate, seconded by Councilman Ronald and
carried that a check in the amount of $3000.00 from Howson Bros.
for the Galion Motor Grader be accepted as payment in full for
the grader and the City Attorney be instructed to drawr~ltpr,;the
necessary Bill of Sale.
Councilman Rush discusses the matter of the golf club's request
to change the location of the seventh green and the eighth tee
statingfuat he had gone over the proposed route of change with
the City Engineer and club members and the City Engineer stated
that this latest plan would not jeopardize the reservoir in any
manner.
Motion by Councilman Rush,seconded by Councilman Pate and
carried that the Golf Club be granted permission to change the
leeat:tbn.'.of:,t:'he seventh green and the eighth tee at the local
course and that all work be done under the supervision of the
City Engineer and the Building and Grounds Committee.
