This snecial meeting of the Common Council is called to
order by His Honor Mavor~Si2: Sanchez.
Pr~sent: Counciimen: 6arl W. Pate, Courtland M. Rush~
Kenneth IJ. Petersen, Everett C. Wentworth, and Wilford E. Jor-
dan. Abs~nt: Councilman: Charles Gallo.
The Mayor states that the meeting is called to discuss the
request of GilroY,T. and R. Paint Company to withdraw their bid
in the am9unt of :~l, 345.00 for painting of ',Jheeler Audi tori urn
which was awarded by motion at the regular council meeting on
~jTa y ,+, 19 5 9 .
A letter is read from T. Chavez of Gilroy T. & R.Paint Com-
pany requesting to withdraw his bid for painting of ~nleeler
Auditorium.
~10tion by Councilman Pate second by Councilman Jordan and
carried that Mr. Chavez's request to withdraw his bid be granted
and that the next lowest bid be awarded to Henry Weymouth ani
