this adjourned meeting of the Council is called to order by
His Honor Sig Sanchez.
Present: Council Members: Carl W. Pate, Kenneth L. Peter-
sen, Everett C. Wentworth, and Sig Sanchez.
Absent: Council Members: Norman B. Goodrich, Wilford E.
Jordan, and Courtland M. Rush.
The Mayor states that the purpose of this meeting is to
open bids for the bridge and extension of Church Street.
City Engineer Hanna Jr. opens the bids and they read as
follows: 1. Granite Construction Company - $23,337.00, 2.
William Radtke and Son - $19,728.00, 3. George C. Renz Constru-
ction Company - $21,782.00, 4. Dan Caputo - $23,700.00.
Discussion is had.
The City Engineer refers the low bid of William Radtke &
Son to the City Attorney for checking.
Councilman Goodrich arrives and takes his seat at the Coun--,
cil table.
The City Attorney reports that the low bid of William Radtke
and Son is in order.
Motion by Councilman Pate second by Councilman Goodrich and
carried that the low bid of William Radtke and Son for the bridge
and extension of Church Street in the amount of $19,728.00 be
awarded.
City Administrator Carr presents and reads Resolution No.
584. Motion by Councilman Goodrich second by Councilman Pate
that Resolution No. 584 be adopted.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING BUD-
GET AND APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREE~ffiNT FOR EXPENDITURE OF GAS
TAX ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY STREETS.
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Goodrich,Pate,Petersen,Wentworth, and
Sanchez.
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT:COUNCIL MEMBERS: Jordan and Rush
Motion by Councilman Goodrich second by Councilman Pate and
carried that this Council meeting adjourn.
