This regular monthly meeting of the City Council is called to order by
His Honor Sig Sanchez.
Present: Council Members: Norman B. Goodrich, Wilford E. Jordan, and
Sig Sanchez.
Absent: Counci 1 Members: George T. Duffin, Kenneth L. Petersen, Charles
F. Quarti rol i, and Everett C. Wentworth.
Due to a lack of a quorum no action is taken on the bids for reconstruc-
tion work on Princevalle Street from Fifth to Sixth Streets, for an alley in
back of Oak Court and for realignment of Wayland Lane, however, the.se bids are
opened because Lnterested contractors are present at this meeting.
Director of Public Works Kludt opens the bids and they read as follows:
Granite Construction Company $13,600.60; Renz Construction Company, $13,153.50.
The bids are referred to the City Attorney to determine if they meet
with the specifications. .
Motion by Councilman Goodrich second by Councilman Jordan and carried
that this Council meeting adjourn to September 19, 1961, at 1:00 p.m. and that
all business which was to be heard tonight will be heard at the adjourned
