The Adjourned Study Session of the Gilroy City Counci 1 was
called to order by His Honor Mayor Norman B. Goodrich at 8:00 P.M.
Present: Council Members: Dennis L. deBell, John Hughan,
John E. Pate, Anthony C. Silva and Norman B. Goodrich.
Absent:
Council Members: George T. Duffin and David V. Stou
The Counci 1 authorized the Employee Insurance Committee to
contact the employees for enrollment for $10,000 life insurance
and $10,000 accidental death and dismemberment. The employee cost

Study Session The purpose of the Study Session was to discus.s and review
re: 5 yr. the 5 Year Capital Improvement Program and time permitting, the
Cap. Imp. Pol ice Management Survey.

Motion was made by Counci lman Hughan seconded by Counci lman
Pate and carried that the City Administrator be authorized to
execute Lead A~ency Statements on behalf of the City in regard
to LAFCO applications for annexation.
Motion was made by Counci Iman DeBell seconded by Counci Iman
Pate and carried that a change order for the new Library Building
be approved to install Romex wiring in the ceiling overhead re-
ducing the cost of the contract in the amount of $1,719 and (*fur-
ther approved deletion of motorized dimmers in two (2) Meeting
Rooms; a reduction in the contract in the amount of $117.00) and
further authorizing the City Administrator to execute change order
on the Lib~ary Project up to the amount of $1,000 per order.
~'~Council, at May 6,1974, Meeting, agreed to not delete motirized
dimmers in the contract in the amount of $117.00.
