Minutes 1977/04/20 1 3928 Revenue Sharing Gilroy, California April 20, 1977 City Administrator Fred O. Wood stated that it was the time and place scheduled for a Public Hearing to consider Revenue Sharing Funds to be budgeted in the 1977-78 Budget of the City of Gilroy and Revenue Sharing Public Works' Title II Funds this 20th day of April, 1977 at 2:32 p.m. He stated that the anticipated balance in the Revenue Sharing Funds of the City on June 1, 1976 is estimated to be $229,000.00; anticipated revenue to be received in the 1977-1973 fiscal year for Revenue Sharing Fundsis esti- mated to be $325,000.00 for a total of $554,000.00. City Administrator Wood noted that Staff's intent subject to City Council review and approval for the expenditures of said funds is as follows: 1) planned new Fire Station to be located at Welburn and Wren Avenues $354,000.; 2) acquisition of land for the new City Hall Project to be located on the west side of Hanna Street between Sixth and Seventh Streets $200,000.00 for a total Adj ournment 3929 of $55.4,000.00. City Administrator Wood further stated that the anticipated balance in the Revenue Sharing Public Works' Title II Funds of the City on June 1, 1976 is estimated to be $15,091.00; anticipated revenue to be received in the 1977-1978 fiscal year for said funds is $25,000.00 for a total of $50,091.00. City Administrator Wood noted that Staff's intent subject to City Council review and approval for the expenditures of said funds is as fol- lows: 1) payment costs on the Employee's Retirement Program $50,091.00. City Administrator Wood further noted that this would conclude the description of funds anticipated and Staff's recommendation for expen- ditures of same.
