The Regular Adjourned Meeting of the Gilroy City Council was called
to order by His Honor Norman B. Goodrich at 2:00 p.m.
Roll Call Present: Council Members: William E. Childers, Marion T. Link, John E.
Pate, Davi d V. Stout and Norman B. Goodri ch. Absent: Council t1embers: Bri an
D. Cunningham and Roberta H. Hughan.
Executive At 2:07 p.m., the Mayor noted that there would be an Executive Session,
Session same to be a closed hearing at the request of recently suspended Michel A.
Bedaux, Planning Director.
Recess At 4:55 p.m., the Mayor recessed the Executive Session and reconvened
same at 5:10 p.m.
Adjournment At 6:05 p.m., the Mayor adjourned the Executive Session to 7:30 p.m.
on March 27, 1978.
Executive At 7:39 p.m., March 27, 1978, the Mayor reconvened the Executive
Session Session.
Recess At 9:41 p.m., the Mayor recessed the Executive Session and reconvened
same at 9:48 p.m.
At 10:35 p.m., the hearing was closed and the Mayor noted there
would be an Executive Session of the Council only.
Action re:
termination
of M.Bedaux
At 11:00 p.m., the Mayor reconvened the regular adjourned meeting
and reported that the Council determined that Allegations No.1, 2, 3, 4,
5, 6 and 9 were found to be substantiated by the evidence presented and
that the Council unanimously confirmed the City Administrator's recommenda-
tion to terminate Michel A. Bedaux, Planning Director, as of February 23,
1978.
Adjournment
At 11:01 p.m., the Mayor adjourned the meeting.
