CITY ADMINISTRATORIS PUBLIC HEARING RE:
GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS
City Administrator Fred O. Wood stated that it was the time
and place scheduled for a Public Hearing to consider General Revenue
Sharing Funds in the 1978-79 Budget of the City of Gilroy this 31st
day of May, 1978, at 2:31 p.m.
City Administrator Wood stated that the anticipated balance in
the Revenue Sharing Fund in the City of Gilroy on June 1, 1978, is
estimated to be $158,896.00; anticipated to be received in the 1978-
79 fiscal year for Revenue Sharing Funds is estimated to be $238,000.00
for a total of $396,896.00.
He further noted that the anticipated balance in the Revenue
Sharing Title II Funds in the City of Gilroy on June 1, 1978, is
estimated to be $10,914.00; anticipated to be received in the 1978-79
fiscal year for Revenue Sharing Title II Funds is estimated to be
$60,000.00, for a total of $70,914.00.
City Administrator Wood noted that Staffls intent, subject to
the Council review and approval for the expenditures of said funds is
estimated to be $337,650.00 for Revenue Sharing and $80,000.00 for
Revenue Sharing Title II Fudns as follows:

City Administrator Wood asked if there was anyone present in the
audience wishing to speak on the Staff's recommendation for expenditures
of said funds. There was no comment from anyone in the audience.
City Administrator Wood noted that hearing no comment from anyone
in the audience, this would conclude Staffls recommendation and same
would be referred to the City Council for their consideration.
At 2:36 p.m., City Administrator Wood declared the Public Hearing
closed.
