The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the Gilroy City Council was
called to order by His Honor Mayor Norman B. Goodrich at 8:00 o.m.
Present: Council Members: Sharon A. Albert, Donald F. Gage,
Roberta H. Hughan, Marion T. Link, Robert E. Taylor and Norman B.
Goodri ch.
Absent:
Council Member: Pete Valdez, Jr.

The Mayor adjourned the meeting to an Executive Session and re-
adjourned to a regular meeting at 9:25 p.m.
Motion was made by Councilman Link seconded by Councilman
Taylor and carried that the City Administrator Protempore be author-
ized to purchase the Obata property (131 acres) for $1,500,000 and
pay a down payment of $100,000.
At 9:27 o.m., the Mayor adjourned the meetin9 to Tuesday,
July 5, 1983.
