Minutes 1984/10/29 Roll Call " 5075 October, 2'9, 1984 Gilroy, California Mayor Hughan led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The Special Meeting of the Gilroy City Council was called to order by Her Honor Roberta H. Hughan at 7:19 p.m. Present: Council Members: Sharon A. Albert, Donald F. Gage, Paul V. Kloecker, Larry Mussallem, John E. Pate, Pete Valdez, Jr. and Roberta H. Hughan. Grant Funds re: The Mayor stated that the purpose of the meeting was to consider Las Animas adoption of resolutions re: ROberti-Z'Berg and 1984 State Park Bond Act Park Grant Funds for Las Animas Park Addition. Res. #84-70 Roberti- Z'Berg Res. #84-71 State Bond Act of '84 , City Administrator Baksa reported that the resolutions are re- quired prior to filing applications for State assistance for Las Animas Park Addition Project totalling $400,000.00; $100,000.00 to be matched by local funds. Motion was made by Councilman Pate seconded by Councilman Gage that the reading of Resolution No. 84-70 be waived and that it be adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 84-70 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS UNDER THE ROBERTI-Z'BERG URBAN OPEN-SPACE AND RECREATION PROGRAM FOR LAS ANIMAS PARK ADDITION. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of October, 1984, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: ALBERT, GAGE, KLOECKER, MUSSALLEM, PATE, VALDEZ and HUGHAN COUNCIL MEMBERS: NONE COUNCIL MEMBERS: NONE NOES: ABSENT: Motion was made by Councilman Pate seconded by Councilman Gage that the reading of Resolution No. 84-71 be waived and that it be adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 84-71 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS UNDER THE STATE BOND ACT OF 1984 PROGRAM OF THE CALIFORNIA PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES ACT OF 1984 FOR LAS ANIMAS PARK ADDITION.
