He noted Council previously authorized payment of $250.00 to join the Tax Reform Lawsuit. Motion was made by Councilwoman Nelson seconded by Councilwoman Rowlison and carried that the additional funds in excess of the $250.00 maximum authorization be denied. The Mayor appointed Councilwoman Rowlison as the City'S designated voting delegate for the Annual League of California Cities Conference and Councilman Kloecker as alternate delegate. The following information item was noted with no separate discussion on same: Customer Service: The Prudential Network Properties in appreciation to the Fire Department. The Minutes of the South County Regional Wastewater Authority Meeting of June 22, 1993 were noted. City Administrator Baksa noted a Planning Department Report distributed with the Agenda packet re: Residential Development Ordinance review for the August 4, 1993 Study Session. City Administrator Baksa distributed and noted Minutes of the Council Study Session on Strategic Planning for Prioritiza- tion of the issues for the August 9, 1993 Study Session. City Administrator Baksa noted that the City Commissions are in the process of reviewing Charter requirements. A letter requesting input and letter concerning the work- shop re: MTC's Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) Process, August 5, 1993 - 7:00 p.m., Mountain View City Council Chambers, 500 Castro Street, 2nd Floor, was noted and Councilman Kloecker requested Council notify him for reservations. Discussed Memorandum of Supervisor McKenna re: Transit District Governance and City'S draft letter further explained by Councilman Kloecker requesting approval of same. Motion was made by Councilman Kloecker seconded by Council- man Valdez and carried that the letter be forwarded as corrected. Councilman Hale noted the september 30, 1993 Santa Clara County Cities Association General Membership Meeting will feature Supervisor McKenna as their guest speaker. Councilman Hale gave an update on the Board of Supervisors proposed resolutions re: Sales Tax. Councilwoman Rowlison explained a document that she distributed to Council from the City of San Jose noting alternate ways to address local problems, goals, etc. At 7:25 p.m. the Mayor adjourned to a Closed Session re: Exposure to Litigation in accordance with Section 54956.9(b)(1) of the Government Code, re: City of Gilroy v. Wayne Leslie, Santa Clara County Superior Court Case #669069. At 7:40 p.m. the Mayor reconvened the meeting and further adjourned.
