At 5:41 p.m. the Mayor adjourned the meeting.
Motion was made by Councilman Morales, seconded by Councilman Sudol and
carried to reject all bids for the Monterey Streetscape Improvement Project
(Project No. 00-CDD-524) and re-bid the project.
Traffic Engineer Abrams reviewed the bids versus the engineer's estimate. She
noted some changes that they are contemplating to bring the costs down.
The City Administrator stated that the bids came in over the engineer's
estimate.
Present: Councilmembers: Guadalupe Arellano, Charles S. Morales (arrived
at 5: 34 p.m.), Al Pinheiro, Anthony C. Sudol III, Roland Velasco, and Thomas
W. Springer; Absent: Councilmember: Peter D. Arellano - 5:32 p.m.
The City Clerk noted that the Agenda had been posted on October 20, 2000
at 3:30 p.m.
The Mayor called the Special meeting to order.
