Closed Session Announcement
The City Council met in closed session to review the status of talks with the various
bargaining units pertaining to layoff. The Council considered one proposal from the Fire
Unit. In closed session the Council unanimously voted to direct staff to meet with the
fire unit to discuss the Council's response to the unit's proposal. The Council further
directed staff to issue a press release encompassing the Council's response after
meeting with the fire unit.
