I. CALL TO ORDER at 6:00 p.m.
Present City Council: Mayor Pro Tempore Dion Bracco; Council Member Bob
Dillon; Council Member Craig Gartman; Council Member Cat Tucker; Council
Member Perry Woodward; Mayor AI Pinheiro
II. Review of Proposed Annual Budget for Fiscal Years 2009/2010 and 2010/2011
The staff report was presented by Finance Director Turner.
Council Member Peter Arellano, M.D. joined the meeting at 6:09 p.m.
City Engineer Smelser spoke on the Santa Clara Valley Water District issues with
regards to their proposed ground water management fee increases or "pump tax".
City Attorney Callon spoke on the issue of Prop 218 in regards to the ground water
management fee increase proposed by the Water District and the water charges per
"zone".
There were no public comments.
III. CLOSED SESSION
