II. NEW BUSINESS
A. Supplemental Agreement and Associated Resolutions Between the City of
Gilroy and the Gilroy Police Officers Association, Inc. Representing Gilroy
Police Officers Resolution Approving Agreement Containing Concessions
The staff report was presented by Human Resources Director McPhillips.
Chief Turner presented additionally to the staff report sharing staffing processes.
Council Member Arellano joined the meeting at 6:10 p.m. as a remote location
participant via conference call:

Ron Kirkish spoke thanking the POA and the City Council for working out the
agreement in a positive manner.

Motion: to Adopt Resolution 2010-44 of the City Council of the City of Gilroy
Approving an Agreement Between the City of Gilroy and the Gilroy Police
Officers Association Containing Agreed Upon Salary and Benefit Concessions
Moved by Council Member Bob Dillon, seconded by Council Member Perry
Woodward.
