Motion was made bv Councilman Gage seconded hv Councilman Hus-
sallem and carriec .that '::.he bid 0:= Fa:,:-ri.son' s 'l'ree Service be awarded
for the pruning of City Street 'rrees in the amount of $19,935.40 as
recommended.
The Mayor noted tnat the applicant for the continued Public
Hearinq to consider a Tentative Map request for a Residential Subdivi-
sion of 95 lots on property located between Hecker Pass Highway ano
Mantelli Drive, west of Santa Teresa Boulevard, on land zoned RH and
Rl pun had requested cancellation of said continued Public Hearing.
Motion was made bv Councilman Valdez seconded by Councilman Gaqe
and carried that the scheduled Public Hearing for Filice Estate Vine-
yards be cancelled as requested..
r1r. Chuck Chang addressed the Council requestinq sewer alloca-
tion for a previously processed application, Architectural & Site
approval expired, further explained bv Plannin~ Director Dorn.
Discussion was had by Council on the matter. It was requested
that Mr. Chang reapply for Architectural & Site apnroval in order that
he be prepared in the event there is unused sewer allocation avaiable
on March 1, 1985; if available, Council would consider the matter at
that time.
A request from the Gilroy Building Department Anpeals Board for
establishment of membership terms. was noted.
Motion was made by Councilman Pate seconded by Councilman Gage
that the readino of Resolution No. 35-13 be waived and that it he

Gilroy Buildinq Department Appeals Bo,":.r.d to '::oincil~e with reoular
commission terms. It was noted that the present membershin of five
would be required to draw for two four-vear terms; one three-vear term;
one two-year term and one one-vear terTI; suhsequent terms to coincide
with regular four-year commission terms not to exceed a maximum of
two full terms.

A letter from the SAnta Clara Valle~T Hater District offer-
ing assistance regarding wastel~ater treatment was noted. The Mayor
noted that she would forward a letter notifying them that the City
is interested in working with the District on the matter.
A request of Rohert Kishimura for temporarv city water
for fire protection sprinkler system on Murray Avenue was noted
including Staff reports and recommendations reqarding same.
Motion was made by Councilman Gage seconded by Councilman
Mussallem and carried that the request for temporarv city water
for fire protection sprinkler system on Murrav Avenue be approved
subject to Staff recommendations.

of January 15, 1985, were noted.

City Administrator Baksa explained a problem regarding the
development of the Ghirlanda Property noting the service road to
the back lots reduces the lot requirements for construction of
duplexes upon each lot.

City Administrator Baksa~istributed a tentative schedule for
individual councilmember meetings with him requesting time preference

Study Session.

Councilman Kloecker requested Council endorsement of the ABAG
membership proposed increase in membership dues. Council had no objec-
tion to same.
Councilwoman Albert reported that the HCD Committee would be
rreeting in April to Gont::.nue dis:::uss5.on on the !)roposed applications.
The South County Joint Planning Advisory Committee Meeting
scheduled for February 21, 1985, at 1',00 p.m. at the Lions' Club House
in San Martin was noted. Councilman Pate noted that he would check
further to determine if all board members and City Councils would
receive minutes of the orevious meetings.
