RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILrtOY ABk~DO~l-
ING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC UTILI'!.'Y EASE~1E!'lT ON T~O LOTS ON
JUNIPER DRIVE.
\-JHERKo"S, it has come to the. a!:tention of the City
Council of the City of Gilroy that the following described por-
tion of a Public Utility Easement has not been used for the
purpose dedicated since being dedicated and recorded on the
28th day of February, 1968; said portion being more particular-
ly described as follows:
BEING a portion of that certain ten (10) foot wide
Public Utilities Easement (P. U.E.) ~.vhich lies on the
common property line of Parcels "A" & "B" as said
parcels are shown on the Record of Survey, recorded
in the office of the Recorder of Santa Clara Count37
in Book 249 of Maps at page 43; said easement also
being shm,m on the map of Tract ~To. 4172, "Hestwood
Acres", Unit No.3 as lying along the common property
line of lots "178" and "179", said map for Tract No.
4172 is recorded in Book 233 of ~aps at pages 52 and
53 in the office of the Recorder of the County of
Santa Clara, State of California; the centerline of
which protion of easement is described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of said common property
line 'ivith the northwesterly right-of-rN'ay line- of- .
Juniper Drive; thence, northwesterly along said com-
mon property line, N. 360 54' 29" \V. l59.0L~ feet to
the end of said portion of public utility easement.
vlliEREAS, it further appears from independent evidence
that said portion of easement is not necessary for present or
prospective public use:

that the portion of public utility easement which is descfihed

BE IT FUTTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is
