RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VACATION OF THE ENTIRE PIJBL IC ALLEY FROM
SEVENTH STREET BET~~EN ROSANNA AND HANNA

STREETS.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy did on July
16, 1979, adopt Resolution No. 79-57 declaring its intention

to proceed under the Street Vacation Act of 1941, Streets and
Highways Code Section 8300, et.~. to vacate the entire
public alley from Sixth Street to Seventh Street between Rosanna
and Hanna Streets, as shown upon the map attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, notices of the adoption of such resolution were
published and posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, no objection to the proposed vacation of the
hereinbefore mentioned public alley was filed at or before the
hearing by the Council on August 6, 1979, at 8:00 o'clock p.m.,
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 7390 Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, California, the time and place fixed for the hearing in
said notices, and the hearing having been duly held, and the
Council having duly considered the evidence presented as to the
vacation of the entire public alley from Sixth Street to Seventh
Street between Rosanna and Hanna Streets described herein;
The Council does hereby find that the ~escribed public
alley is unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
NOH, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Gilroy that the described public alley be vacated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1979, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: CHILDERS, CU~NINGHAM, HUGHAN,
LINK, PATE, STOUT and GOODRICH.
NOES: CQU!'ICIL .MEMBERS: None
