RESOLUTION NO. 86-71
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ORDERING VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE RIGHT OF WAY
ON CARLYLE AVENUE MEASURING 3095 SQUARE FEET

WllliREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy did on
October 6, 1986, adopt Resolution No. 86-62 declaring its
intention to proceed under the Public Streets, Highways
and Service Easements Vacation Law to vacate a portion of
the right of way on Carlyle Avenue measuring 3095 square
feet, as shown upon the map attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, notices of the adoption of such resolution
were published and posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, no objection to the proposed vacation was filed
at or before the hearing by the Council on October 27, 1986,
at 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall
at 7351 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, the time and place
fixed for the hearing in said notices, and the hearing having
been duly held, and the Council having duly considered the
evidence presented as to the vacation described herein;
The Council does hereby find that the described portion
of the right of way on Carlyle Avenue measuring 3095 square feet
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Gilroy that the described portion of the right of way on
Carlyle Avenue measuring 3095 square feet be vacated.
